Abouthome > about About the McHenry Alliance Bible Church The Alliance Bible Church of McHenry has been a part of the McHenry community for more than 50 years. Beginning as a Bible study led by Donald G. Liberty in 1948, the church grew and eventually built the current building at Bull Valley Road and Rt. 31 in 1974. What we believe We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and therefore 100% true, and as truth we believe it is error-free. We don’t believe it’s open to private interpretation or to merely serve as a fanciful tale of how we are to live our lives. Rather it is to be understood literally. Our pastors, Paul Martin and Hector Morales, teach directly from the Bible without sugar-coating the realities found in its pages. The messages they pastors deliver are timely, relevant and applicable to everyday life. One church, two languages The Alliance Bible Church of McHenry is proud to share Jesus’ message in two languages simultaneously each Sunday. At 10 a.m. you can hear a message delivered in English by Pastor Paul Martin in the main sanctuary, or you can hear one delivered in Spanish by Pastor Hector Morales…

Worshiphome > worship Worship With Us What to expect At the McHenry Alliance Bible Church we don’t have a dress code. Some wear jeans and t-shirts, and they sit alongside others wearing slacks, button downs and dresses. Some even wear sleeved tattoos. The point is, appearance doesn’t matter—church isn’t a fashion show. We welcome you to come as you are. Services On Sunday mornings we have two English services, one at 8 a.m. and one at 10 a.m. The message from the pastor is the same at each, but music worship styles differ. Traditional Service (8 a.m.) At the 8 a.m. service we worship with traditional hymns, piano and organ music. Contemporary Service (10 a.m.) At the 10 a.m. service we worship with more contemporary music using guitars, bass, drums and keyboard. Many of the songs we sing can also be heard on current Christian radio like K-LOVE. What’s that noise? While attending either our 10 a.m. English or Spanish services on a given Sunday morning, you might feel and hear some musical vibrations coming from another room. Ministrieshome > ministries Adult, Youth and Child Ministries Getting involved in ministries is a practical way to serve others in the body of Christ, but more than that it’s a great way to join with other Christians with a shared interest and common goal. There are lots of ways to get involved and connected at the Alliance Bible Church of McHenry. We have ministries for people of all ages and passions.
